• My full name is Alexis Arragon but because of those two capital 'a' initials, I have used the more anonymous Alexis A pseudo quite often.

I have completed no art education or degree of any kind. Instead, I have a Computer Science MD and a curiosity which regularly drives me outside of my comfort zone.

So far, I have not received any grant or award.

I have been able to exhibit my work on several occasions, and although those were of a limited impact, I have looked for repeating this process as often as possible: looking back at one's work with a higher, different perspective has always proved enlightening.
    These occasions include:
2011 United States of A., Institut des Sciences Politiques, Paris
2011 The Dark Side: Night Photography, group show, 1650 Gallery, Los Angeles
2011 Work featured in The Los Angeles Collection at the International Pink Art Fair, Seoul, Korea
2011 The Los Angeles Collection, group show, Duncan Miller Gallery, Los Angeles
2010 A Troubled Night, GAG, Paris
2010 A Troubled Night... in SF, Minna Gallery, San Francisco
2009 Sense Summer Art Fair, group show, London

I also had the opportunity to write an article for VICE magazine, telling about my experience as a tourist in Charleroi and featuring my work:
